Poor Puppy

Poor Emma she had a seizure filled night. She had one in the kitchen at 2 am that lasted for 2 minutes. Then I gave her a dose of pheno at 5 am. 5:30 am she had a really big seizure that lasted 3-4 minutes. Then again at 7:30. I got her to the vet at 8:45, they doubled her pheno dose and gave me rescue meds (rectal valium). They could have kept her but they weren't going to do anything for her but observe her, she only suggested that if no one was going to be home to watch her. They skipped the blood panel since she had a full work up for that. We gave her 30 more mg of pheno at the vet office. She had another shorter one in the car on the way home about 10:15. Another at home at 11:03. So we are waiting for her med levels to kick in. And mostly we can just wait and watch and pray for the best. We'll put her on a grain free diet, my SIL did that and it helped her dog who had seizures.
